DATA ACCESS

The Aura High Resoluiton Dynamics Limb Sounder (HIRDLS), Microwave Limb Sounder (MLS) and Ozone Monitoring Instrument (OMI) data products may be accessed via different methods, which are described below. See the "Data Products" link on the menu bar for more information about individual products. NOTE: Tropospheric Emissions Spectrometer (TES) data are available from another DAAC located at NASA Langley Research Center's Atmospheric Sciences Data Center (ASDC).

Please note that most Aura data files are in the new HDF-EOS5 format. Exceptions include the OMI level 1B (in the older HDF-EOS2.x format), and MLS level 1 (plain HDF5 format). Please see the "Tools and Services" link for tools to read the various Aura data files.

Getting Data

We have many Aura datasets as well as data from other sensors on multiple platforms. The following methods are available for getting Aura and other data products. Please contact us if you have any questions.

Use keywords to find data quickly in a Google-like interface.
