| SNOWMASS VILLAGE, Colo., April 4, 2005 – Deputy Defense Secretary Paul Wolfowitz called more than 350 disabled veterans gathered here “an inspiration to the rest of us” and praised them for demonstrating “courage and determination” as they work at rebuilding their lives. Today, he’s a volunteer peer counselor for other disabled veterans in St. Louis and a role model for newly injured veterans, including those of Operations Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom who are here at the 19th National Disabled Veterans Winter Sports Clinic.
