This kmz file contains an animation of global TRMM precipitation data during hurricane Katrina.  The kmz file fetches 3-hourly TRMM data from August 22nd 2005 until September 1st 2005.  To play the movie correctly in Google Earth you need to install the latest version and adjust the time widget to a one day interval.
