Playing Fields

Fort Scott Field

Photo by Sanford Schulwolf.Fort Scott Field, not far from the Golden Gate Bridge Toll Plaza, is available for public use through the Presidio Trust Special Events office. Scheduling for organized leagues or recurring use is determined through a lottery. Letters of explanation, reservation sheets, rules, and applications are mailed in spring for the October through September use period. A limited number of “one time use” reservations may also available. To register your team or league for the date selection competition or to learn about other availability, please contact Presidio Trust Special Events at (415) 561-5444.

Morton Street Field

A photo of children playing at Morton Street Field.Morton Street Field, located in the East Housing area at the corner Morton and Rodriguez Street, is licensed to Town School, and is open to public play when not scheduled to be used by Town School, provided the field is not closed for preservation. Public use is based on a first-come-first-served basis. For questions regarding availability, please call Brewster Ely at (415) 921-3747.

Paul Goode Field

Paul Goode Field, located in East Housing just south of the Morton Field, is licensed to San Francisco University High School (SFUHS), and is open to public play when not scheduled to be used by SFUHS, provided the field is not closed for preservation. Public use is based on a first-come-first-served basis. For questions regarding availability, please call Rusty Taylor at (415) 447-3143.

Julius Kahn Field

Julius Kahn Playground, including its playing fields, is managed by San Francisco Recreation and Park Department. To learn about procedures for reserving the field, visit the Recreation and Park Department website or call (415) 831-5510.
