Proposed Rule 1144 (Lubricants and Rust Inhibitors)
[Attachment 2]Staff will provide a presentation on Proposed
Rule 1144. The purpose of Proposed Rule 1144 is to reduce volatile
organic compound (VOC) emissions from the use of lubricants, metal
working fluids and rust inhibitors at industrial facilities. |

Proposed Rule 1147 (NOX Reductions from Miscellaneous Sources)
[Attachment 3]Staff will provide a presentation on Proposed
Rule 1147. The proposed rule will reduce nitrogen oxide emissions from
a variety of industrial combustion sources including ovens, dryers,
furnaces and kilns. The proposal would, in part, implement control
measures MCS-01 and CMB-01 of the 2007 AQMP. |

Set Public Hearing January 9, 2009 to Amend Rule 1186.1 – Less
Polluting Sweepers
[Attachment 4]Staff will provide a presentation on Proposed
Rule 1186.1. Administrative amendments are proposed to Rule 1186.1 to
clarify the role of government agencies to fully enforce contracts for
sweeping services required under Rule 1186.1 subparagraph (d)(2)(A). In
addition, amendments are proposed to address sweeping services that
cannot be provided with rule compliant sweepers at the beginning of the
contract period due to delivery lead time. |

request staff to report back at a subsequent meeting concerning any matter,

Copley Drive, Diamond Bar, California, at least 72 hours in advance of a
regular meeting. At the end of the regular meeting agenda, an opportunity is
also provided for the public to speak on any subject within Local Government & Small Business Assistance Advisory Group's
authority. Speakers may be limited to three (3) minutes each.

All documents (i) constituting non-exempt public records, (ii) relating to
an item on an agenda for a regular meeting, and (iii) having been
distributed to at least a majority of the Committee after the agenda is
