Owned and operated by professional athletes, we provide fitness equipment, supplements and advice to our customers.  Our mission is to promote greater fitness by sharing our passion and fitness expertise with our customers.

Some of our physical activity/fitness activities will include, but not be limited to, the following:

  • Creating forums for each age group and posting info from our experts on advice and encouragement for members of these forums.  We can also post links to relevant government info in our forums as well.
  • Reprinting articles from the President's Council on our site in the articles section, also providing links.
  • Holding fitness events in which our athletes teach youth groups about nutrition and the proper techniques for working out, what it will take to be a professional athlete and other careers available to those with a passion for sports.  The first will be held in Minneapolis later this year.
  • We will also have a program specifically for Corporate Groups in which we let each company create their own community in our forums and we offer a special coupon code for that company so that they can get discounts on fitness supplements.  Besides the advice of our professionals, we will also offer incentives for achievements - free shaker cup, T-shirt or supplements.

Bus Radio is a national radio program that provides age-appropriate music, entertainment, public service announcements, and educational programming to children ages 6 to 18.

Bus Radio is dedicated to helping children nationwide become more active and healthy. In order to accomplish our goals to provide children with the means to implement change and add physical activity to their lives, we will incorporate a weekly “Health and Fitness” segment on our National Radio show.

In addition to weekly tips and information on how to become more physically fit, we will also include information and fitness tips on our website that will give children more ideas on how they can be more physically active in their own lives.

Bus Radio recognizes the need to make sure health and physical activity is promoted as much as possible and would be proud to be a 50th Anniversary Partner.

The International Health, Racquet & Sportsclub Association's mission is to grow, protect and promote the health and fitness industry, and to provide its members with benefits that will help them be more successful.

The fitness industry is poised to step up as a solution to the growing public health crisis of obesity and overweight. IHRSA proudly represents and supports this goal through initiatives which help promote healthy, active lifestyles, such as Get Active America!, and 'I Lost It at the Club.'

Get Active America! During the month of May, health clubs across the country will be out in their communities offering programs to help all Americans find practical ways to make physical activity and healthy nutrition a routine part of their everyday, busy lives.  These programs include “Bring a Friend” days and “Open House” days.

I Lost It at the Club! A weight loss initiative that encourages health clubs to reinvigorate their existing programs, to introduce new programs and to hold special educational seminars.  Participants were also encouraged to use the program to foster a sense of community in the club, bringing members together as participants in the same weight-loss program.

monkeybarz

monkeybarz Logo

MONKEYBARZ is fanatically devoted to improving the physical fitness and well-being of kids by providing education and innovative resources to schools, parents and kids as well as community-based organizations. Our primary goal is to encourage 5-12 year olds to engage in at least 60 minutes of fun, physical activity daily.

Through our website featuring information and interactive learning tools, program development and research collaborations, pilot tests with schools and organizations, along with on-site outreach and grassroots initiatives, MONKEYBARZ will help foster change and provide solutions - ultimately, to increase physical activity levels and make fitness a lifelong passion. After all, healthier and happier children become healthier and happier adults.

We will use our website, www.monkeybarz.org, which is planned to launch in mid-May, as a place to give exposure to the 50th anniversary and feature success stories, if available. Lastly, monkeybarz is in discussions with the Brockton School District to pilot a program with two elementary schools which would include using the President’s Challenge as our all school health fitness assessment tool. We envision kicking off our program in mid-September with a celebration of the 50th anniversary and a follow up in November acknowledging results and successes along with creating incentives for the next round of testing.
