FDIC MAKES PUBLIC APRIL 1996 ENFORCEMENT ACTION;
NO ADMINISTRATIVE HEARINGS SET FOR JUNE

The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation today released a list of orders of administrative enforcement actions taken against banks and individuals in April of 1996. No administrative hearings are scheduled during June.

The FDIC processed a total of 14 final orders in April. These included three cease-and-desist orders, six removal and prohibition orders, four terminations of cease-and-desist orders and one adjudicated decision.
