The American Academy of Family Physicians’ initiative Americans In Motion (AIM) seeks to influence the health of all Americans through “fitness” (physical activity, nutrition and emotional well-being).  AIM is dedicated to promoting family physicians as fitness role models who serve as key resources for improving fitness among individuals, families and communities.  This year, AIM plans to distribute a fitness curriculum inspiring youth to be active, eat smart and feel good about themselves.  The school-based curriculum for third and fourth grade will bring together teachers, family physicians, children and their families in local communities across the U.S.
