Susan Dell

Susan DellSusan Dell of Austin, Texas – Ms. Dell is a co-founder and Chairman of the Board of the Michael and Susan Dell Foundation, which works to improve outcomes for under served children in a measurable way. Since its inception, the foundation has committed more than $190 million to children’s and community initiatives. Ms. Dell has a degree in fashion merchandising and design and is putting her talents to good use as the Chairman of the Board of Phi, a New York City-based women’s designer collection company that made its runway debut in Fall 2004. Prior to that, she designed and sold a clothing line of her own name. These fashions were featured in American and French Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, and W. In her spare time, Ms. Dell is an accomplished endurance athlete. She completed the 2003 Hawaii Ironman, finished first place over all for men and women and set a women’s course record at the 2004 Kaloko Cycling Race, and set a record for the 40-44 female age group on the Cooper Clinic stress test.
