J. Nick Baird, M.D. of Columbus, Ohio – Dr. Baird
is an Associate Clinical Professor
in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the
Ohio State University College of Medicine. He is a former Director of the Ohio Department
of Health (ODH). Prior to
his position with ODH, Dr. Baird served for 13 years with OhioHealth,
most recently as Senior Vice President and Chief Medical
Officer. For 27 years he was a private practice physician
in obstetrics and gynecology. A former member of the
Board of Trustees for U.S. Health Corporation, Dr. Baird
formerly served as President of the Medical and Dental
staff at Riverside Methodist Hospital, and as Chairman
of the hospital's Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
He is a diplomat of the American Board of Obstetrics
and Gynecology, and a member of the Ohio State Medical
Association, the Columbus Medical Association, and the
American College of Physician Executives. Dr. Baird
holds a B.S. from The Ohio State University, and graduated
cum laude from the OSU School of Medicine. Dr. Baird
serves on the Executive Committee of the Columbus Zoo,
and has a special interest in wilderness medicine.
