Advanced IT Training Program

Fundamentals of TCP/IP

Program Overview
This course is designed to assist DSC IT Examiners identify the role of each TCP/IP component and understand the major TCP/IP application services.

Key Objectives
Upon completion of this course, students will be able to:

  • understand the fundamentals of TCP/IP, and
  • be able to describe how TCP/IP networks operate.

Instructional Format
Facilitated classroom discussion and lectures.

Duration
Four and one-half days.

Level
Intermediate.

Target Audience
DSC Bank Examiners who perform IT examinations.

Prerequisites
Attendees should have an intermediate knowledge of information technology and security concepts and must have taken the iNet+, Security+, and Network+ courses. Attendance at this class is at the discretion of your Regional IT ARD.
