Shaping Concepts mission is to help members of the community to engage in a healthy, active lifestyle.  With the help from our certified Athletic and Personal Trainers, from ages 9 and up, both male and female can be instructed to whatever their goals may be.  A variety of sports performance exercises along with general conditioning techniques are utilized in these programs to improve speed, strength, agility and quickness.  All clients will build character, gain discipline and work ethic that will be invaluable traits for the rest of their lives.

As a personal trainer, Certified Athletic Trainer, and the Director of Shaping Concepts Sports Performance, there are many ways in which Shaping Concepts and myself encourage physical activity in our community.  Some of the programs that we currently provide include different personal training packages, men and women group fitness classes, and youth athletic sports performance programs.  The personal training classes are personalized and designed for all age groups currently ranging from age 9 to age 82.  We also provide boot camps and cardio programs.  Old fashion exercises such as running, hopping, jumping, push-ups, sit-ups, lunges, etc…are all implemented.

The Sports Academy LLC is dedicated to enhancing the physical skills of children while contributing to their social, emotional and cognitive development . During April we will sponsor the Sparkler Spring Fitness Festival and in August we will sponsor another Sparkler Fitness Festival in conjunction with National Gymnastics Day, for children, parents and community members. The event will provide an opportunity for our students, family members and others to make a commitment to a healthier lifestyle and fight the rising tide of child obesity. The main focus of our events will be encouraging the participants to accept the President’s Challenge and participate in a variety of fitness, sport, heath related activities not only during the festival but throughout their lifetime. We estimate 500 participants will participate in the fun, noncompetitive event.
