John
P. Burke of Madison, Wisconsin – Mr. Burke was
appointed President of Trek Bicycle Corporation, the
world-leading manufacturer of premium bicycles, in 1997
after starting with the company as a Field Sales Representative
in 1984. He also serves as President of the Bikes Belong
Coalition, an organization founded by leaders within
the bicycle industry with the mission of "putting
more people on bikes more often." Mr. Burke received
his B.S. in Business Administration from Boston University.
An avid runner, golfer and tennis player, Mr. Burke
also coaches elementary school basketball and participates
in the Boys and Girls Club mentoring program.
