Authority Details Display

When you do an Authority Search, your results are displayed in a Headings list. If you click on the heading, you will get all of the titles associated with that heading.

To get to the authority information, you need to click on the See/See Also, Auth/Note, Auth/Ref, Auth/Ref/Note or Authorized Heading icons. You can then click on the Authorized Heading to see the authority information in the default MARC View display. To view authority information in a different format, click the Authority Details button.

You can save, print, or e-mail information about the authority record that you retrieved:

1. In the Options for Print, Save or E-mail box, select a Download Format.
   
   
2. Click on the Print/Save button to save or print the record. This will display your record as text only, and then you can use your browser's commands (File - Save or File - Print) to save or print.

   To e-mail the record, type your e-mail address in the box and click on the E-mail button.

You can also save any page to a file using your browser commands (File - Save). If it is available, you can also File - Send to e-mail a page to yourself. Investigate your save options to pick the most convenient method for you.

To begin a new search, click the tab. The tabs in the Title Bar at the top of the page will display your current LocatorPlus location.
