Visiting COMET

The COMET facility is located at the UCAR Foothills Laboratory off of 47th Street in northeast Boulder. The address is 3450 Mitchell Lane, Boulder, Colorado 80301.

To Get to COMET from Highway 36:

Exit from Highway 36 onto Foothills Parkway, and head north approximately 4 miles to Valmont. Turn right (east) on Valmont, and immediately get into the left turn lane. Turn left onto 47th Street and follow it for a couple of blocks. Mitchell Lane is on your right, and is the last street before the railroad tracks. Turn right on Mitchell Lane. The first building on your right is 3300 Mitchell Lane. Follow Mitchell Lane until it ends and you are facing three UCAR buildings at 3450 Mitchell Lane. The COMET Offices are located in Building 3 and the COMET Classroom is in Building 2, Room 1024. You may park in the Visitor Parking lot in front of Building 2. Enter Building 2 and ask the receptionist to contact the COMET staff person you are visiting.
