2005 Southern Mississippi Combined Federal Campaign

NOTE: This is only available to Federal employees whose permanent duty station is located within the geographic area of the Southern Mississippi CFC

As everyone is painfully aware, the hurricanes of 2005 have devastated the Southern Mississippi area. Many people have lost everything they own and are living in temporary shelters/housing or have been moved to areas outside of the area into shelters/housing. The devastation also affected the charitable community in Southern Mississippi, which provides many services to those in need. Federal employees, although affected by the Hurricanes, may still be working and/or receiving paychecks as the recovery in Southern Mississippi takes place. As such, we are proud to offer Federal employees whose permanent duty stations are located within the boundaries of the Southern Mississippi CFC (counties include Covington, Forrest, George, Greene, Hancock, Harrison, Jackson, Jefferson Davis, Jones, Lamar, Marion, Pearl River, Perry, and Stone) the opportunity to help charities regain their operations and provide services to those people affected in the area at this significant time of need.

We certainly understand if you are not in a position to help others at this time by making a CFC contribution because you need to focus on your needs first. However, if you are fortunate enough to be able to help others by contributing to the 2005 Southern Mississippi CFC, we greatly appreciate your generosity and ask you to follow the procedures outlined below. Please understand that this campaign will not be administered in the manner that you are accustomed to. That is, you will not receive a printed CFC brochure/catalogue or a pledge card. Following the procedures below will be the only way to contribute to the 2005 Southern Mississippi CFC which will run through December 31, 2005. There are two sets of procedures depending on whether or not you are currently located within your permanent duty station within the campaign area or if you have been temporarily relocated to an area outside of the campaign area.

How to give if you are still located within your Federal Agency within the Southern Mississippi CFC geographic area:
