Solicitation for Grant Applications for High-Growth Job Training Initiative Grants for the Healthcare and Biotechnology Industries (SGA-DFA-PY-04-1). The Employment and Training Administration (ETA), U.S. Department of Labor (DOL), announces the availability of approximately $10 million in demonstration grant funds to address labor shortages, innovative training strategies, and other workforce challenges in the Healthcare and Biotechnology industries as identified through the President's High Growth Job Training Initiative. Senior Community Service Employment Program-Division of Older Workers Programs, Section 502(e) (SGA/DFA 04-102) This solicitation announces the availability of approximately $2 million in PY2004 funds for the Section 502(e) program. The Department plans to award 4 to 10 grants with a minimum amount of $25,000 for current SCSEP grantees and a minimum amount of $150,000 for non-current SCSEP grantees. Workforce Investment Act - Work Incentive Program to Enhance Service Delivery for Jobseekers with Disabilities through the National One-Stop Delivery System, Fourth Round Solicitation for Grant Applications (SGA/DFA-04-107) The U.S. Department of Labor (USDOL), Employment and Training Administration (ETA), announces the availability of approximately $14 million to be granted to qualifying applicants for the period of June 2004 to June 2006. The Work Incentive Grant Program provides grant funds to entities administering Workforce Investment Act Title I programs to augment the One-Stop delivery system to facilitate programmatic access and enhanced, streamlined service delivery for jobseekers with disabilities, including psychiatric and other hidden disabilities. Grants for Workforce Investment Boards (SGA/DFA 04-103) The U.S. Department of Labor (USDOL), Employment and Training Administration (ETA), announces the availability up to $5.5 million for grants to eligible Workforce Investment Boards (WIBs) that have demonstrated successfully the ability to form working partnerships with grassroots faith-based and community organizations (FBCOs). Grants for Small Grassroots Organizations (SGA/DFA 04-104) The Employment and Training Administration (ETA), U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) announces the availability of $1,000,000 to award grants to eligible "grass-roots" organizations with the ability to connect to the local One-Stop delivery system.
