The Governor’s Electronic Recording Council - Wisconsin today (May 6) announced that those involved with real estate transactions in Wisconsin will now be able to electronically record documents, moving Wisconsin into the forefront of electronic real estate commerce.

Brown County Register of Deeds Cathy Williquette has been chosen to receive the 2008 “Badger Award” for openness in government by the Wisconsin Newspaper Association
