Law Extends Non-Minister Special Immigrant Religious Worker Program
May 4, 2009 - USCIS advises its customers that Public Law 111-9, signed by President Obama on March 20, 2009, extends the non-minister special immigrant religious worker program through Sept. 29, 2009. The program had expired on March 6, 2009.

USCIS Issues Information on H1N1 Flu Preparations

April 27, 2009 - You have all no doubt seen press reports of the H1N1 flu outbreak.

All USCIS offices, except Mexico, remain open for business. Customers should plan to attend all previously scheduled appointments, interviews and ceremonies unless they are feeling ill.

If you are feeling ill, please contact the National Customer Service Center at 800-375-5283 to reschedule. If you are scheduled for an Asylum interview, please see further information at the above link.
