Time is Running Out: USGBC Federal Summit in Washington, D.C., May 14

USGBC Members Invited to Weekly Webcasts on LEED v3

Employees of USGBC member organizations are invited to join USGBC and the Green Building Certification Institute for five free, members-only webcasts covering various LEED v3 and professional credentialing topics. Each webcast will also feature a question-and-answer session with a USGBC or GBCI staff member.

Beginning June 27, New LEED Registered Projects will use LEED v3

June 26, 2009, is the last day projects will be able to register for the current version of LEED. Starting on June 27, all projects will begin using LEED v3, which includes the faster and easier-to-use LEED Online and LEED 2009, the latest version of the rating system.

Excellence in Green Building Education Awards: Request for Proposals, March 31 - June 25

The Excellence in Green Building Education Awards celebrate innovative curricular programs in formal education settings by honoring them with incentive grants and awards of recognition. The awards distinguish model programs in three categories: pre-k to grade 12, community and technical colleges and colleges and universities for their efforts toward advancing green building education. Requests for proposals will take place from March 31 – June 25.
