Section 2108(a) of the Social Security Act (the Act) provides that the States must assess the operation of the State child health plan in each Federal fiscal year (FFY), and report to the Secretary, by January 1 following the end of the FFY, on the results of the assessment. In addition, this section of the Act provides that the State must assess the progress made in reducing the number of uncovered, low-income children. This page contains downloads of the Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP) annual reports for the States that have submitted them to CMS. The downloads are ZIP files by FFY that contain folders for each State's CHIP annual report. For Federal fiscal year 2007 and after, the state annual reports are located in the CHIP Enrollment Reports list page.
