Video Transcript

Rachel Miles, Youth Specialist, Saline County
Education is definitely a foundation of extension, but a product of that is the relationships that you build with people in these communities ... what a fun and exciting thing to be able to build these relationships with youth, who are our future leaders.

Jim Crawford, Ag Engineering Specialist, Atchison County
I enjoy helping people, and everyday when I go home, it gives me a sense of accomplishment that I have done something good today ... that I’ve answered some people’s questions and I’ve made things a little easier for them.

Virginia Wilson, Business Specialist, St. Charles County
We’re actually working with the whole community. When I first started working for extension and my first client got her loan, you would have thought I got the loan. I was really excited for my client. I like seeing them get their business off the ground. These are people that come in with a dream. They want start their own business ... they need the money ... they don’t know how to get set up. If I can help somebody do that and get their dream started, I take it personally.  I really get a joy out of working with people and seeing them get their business going.
