Tribes in the Rural EZ/EC Program
Round II was enacted into law by the Taxpayer Relief Act of 1997 and tribes became eligible to apply to the
Empowerment Zone and Enterprise Community (EZ/EC) program. This page addresses tribal issues in relationship to the Community Empowerment Initiative but is also valuable to all tribes across the nation.
