08-ARRA-01 (4-14-09) WIA Youth Programs Funded Under the Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009
To provide the minimum requirements and guidance to Local Workforce Investment Areas (LWIAs) on the implementation of youth employment programs utilizing American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (Recovery Act) of 2009 funds

 

WIA Policy Letter No. 08-ARRA-01 outlines provisions for an emergency procurement and the minimum requirements to be met including the use of an Emergency Purchase Affidavit. The following form should be used to meet this requirement.

08-NOT-33  (March 20, 2009) American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 Adult, Dislocated Worker, and Youth Activities Allocations

To provide information to all Local Workforce Investment Areas (LWIAs) on the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (Recovery Act) of 2009 allocations for the adult, dislocated worker, and youth funding streams. Guidance on completing a plan modification as a result of these allocations will be provided in a separate WIA Notice after USDOL provides guidance to the states
