Library

The RTP library is conveniently located just off the main lobby. Housing an extensive collection of print and electronic resources, the library is a critical research tool for EPA staff. The space is also comfortable, quiet and well lit. The library is wrapped on three sides by large windows that afford great views of the forest, lake and plaza.

Direct/indirect pendant lighting enhances the space. Using about 25% less energy than traditional down-lights, the fixtures also bounce light off the ceiling and create low-glare lighting - perfect for the library setting. Comfortable seating and large tables also help make the library an inviting and practical place for work.
