The Oregon State Board of Geologist Examiners will convene for a quarterly meeting on Friday, September 12, 2008, at 8:30 AM. The meeting will be preceded by a 7:00 PM Work Session on September 11, 2008. The Work Session and the Board meeting will be held in Baker City, Oregon, at the Best Western, Sunridge Inn, I 84, Exit 304, (541) 523-6444. The meeting will be followed by a field trip in the Basin.

During the meeting, the Board may consider Administrative Rule review, legislative activities, law enforcement matters, financial reports, administration of examinations, and examination appeals.

Executive Session may be convened to discuss records exempt from public inspection per ORS 192.660(2)(f). Executive Session could be convened during the Work Session or during the Board Meeting.

Meetings of the Board are open to the public. Parties interested in the regulation of registered professionals or the practices of geology and engineering geology are invited to attend.

The meeting location is accessible to people with disabilities.
