America's Affordable Communities Initiative

 Information by State
 Print version

On March 22, 2004 (69 FR 13450), HUD published a final notice announcing its intention to establish the Removal of Regulatory Barriers to Affordable Housing policy priority in the Majority of its Fiscal Year 2004 NOFAs (Notice of Funding Availability). In this notice, HUD advised that applicants would be required to respond to a series of evaluative questions in order to receive the policy priority rating points in the NOFA evaluation. For more information see HUD's Grants Page.

As a resource for Hawaii's SuperNOFA applicants, this page provides a link to Form HUD-27300, Questionnaire for HUD's Initiative on Removal of Regulatory Barriers, completed by the planning departments in each of the Counties: Honolulu, Hawaii, Kauai, and Maui. You may download the appropriate form for your respective area and use it to complete your SuperNOFA application (if applicable) to support HUD's policy priority on the Removal of Regulatory Barriers to Affordable Housing. Note: the document is notated as a five-page document, but only the first three pages are applicable to Hawaii. Please be sure to download all three pages of the County document most applicable to your application.
