The purpose of the Small Business Resource Guide is to provide a compendium of practical information on national, state and local small business resources which we believe will assist individuals who are about to start or expand a business. In addition to providing basic information on existing small businesses programs and contracting with the Federal government, there is specific guidance on contracting with the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and the contracting opportunities available with HUD grantees. There also are marketing tips that entrepreneurs should consider adopting when doing business with the Federal government.
