The Judicial Conference of the United States has adopted a revised Code of Conduct for United States Judges that will take effect July 1, 2009, the Conference also voted to ask Congress to create 63 new federal judgeships.
Justices and judges of the United States are authorized to receive a 2.8 percent cost-of-living adjustment for 2009, retroactive to January 1, 2009.
