ACTION: Notice Inviting Applications for New Awards for Fiscal Year 1999. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Purpose of the Program: This competition seeks to identify and disseminate models of alcohol and other drug prevention at institutions of higher education. Eligible Applicants: Institutions of higher education. Applications Available: June 28, 1999. Deadline for Receipt of Applications: July 28, 1999. Note: All applications must be received on or before the deadline date. Applications received after that time will not be eligible for funding. Postmarked dates will not be accepted. Applications by mail should be sent to the U.S. Department of Education, c/o The Higher Education Center for Alcohol and Other Drug Prevention, Education Development Center, Inc., 55 Chapel Street, Newton, MA 02458-1060.
