Access and Services The museum is open 10:30-18:00, except Mondays and days following national and church holidays. Library is open Monday and Thursday 9:00-19:00 and Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday 9:00-17:00. Closed on Saturday and Sunday.

Collection Description The museum collection include archeological, anthropological, medical and surgical instruments, balneological, pharmaceutical, folklore, fine arts (paintings, drawings, sculptures, graphics), applied arts (furniture, textiles, oriental handicrafts), and numismatics.

Related Material The library collects medical, surgical, pharmaceutical, pharmacological books and others relating to the history of science and the connection of medicine and life sciences with cultural, intellectual, social and political fields. The archives contains papers and manuscripts of outstanding Hungarian physicians from the 19th-20th century, papers of the Royal Society of Budapest Physicians, the itinerant Congresses of Hungarian Physicians and Naturalists, etc.
