In 2005, 76.1 percent of all people arrested in the Nation's suburban areas were male.
Males made up 82.7 percent of all those arrested in 2005 for violent crime and 68.3 percent of the people arrested for property crime.
Of all persons arrested in 2005 for drug abuse violations, 80.2 percent were male.
