What Is E-Government?
E-Government is eCommerce applied to the public sector. E-Government
is the interchange of value, including services and information,
through an electronic medium, and includes interactions and relationships
between:
- Government and citizens
- Government and business
- Government and internal efficiencies
- Government and Government.
Electronic Government is about more than technology--it's transforming
the way HUD does business. It's about enabling our people to process
less paper and move into more customer-facing roles that provide
increased levels of service to our citizens and business partners.
