For Individuals
Gardening Weekly Drop-in & Regularly Scheduled Programs

Lend a hand at our weekly drop-in and regularly scheduled volunteer programs. Commitment levels and training vary. Many options do not require training or a lengthy time commitment and welcome drop-in volunteers.

Enjoy the scenic landscapes of the Golden Gate National Parks while making a vital contribution to the health of our parks and our community. We offer a wide range of volunteer opportunities throughout San Francisco, The Presidio, Marin, and San Mateo County. Typical projects include Habitat Restoration, Landscaping & Gardening, Native Plant Nurseries, Trail Maintenance, Beach Clean-ups, and Resource Monitoring. It’s a great way to meet others, as well as a fun and rewarding way to spend the day.

View our Weekly Schedule or Volunteer Brochure for an overview of our programs.
