Washington, D.C.-Janice R. Lachance, Director of the U.S. Office of Personnel Management (OPM), will be the keynote speaker at a March 20, 2000, event hosted by the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Martinsburg, West Virginia, in observance of Women's History Month.
This year's theme is "An Extraordinary Century For Women - Now, Imagine the Future." Lachance will discuss the challenges that continue to face women in their daily lives and in the workplace, and the Clinton Administration's commitment to create a government that looks like America.
