EPA Letters Inviting Industry Participation

This letter, dated October 9, 1998,
and signed by EPA's Administrator, was the original invitation mailed to the Chief Executive Officers of over 900 chemical companies to invite their participation in the HPV Challenge Program.
This letter, dated October 14, 1999,
contains guidance mailed to all companies participating in the HPV Challenge Program concerning principles for program participants to follow with respect to animal welfare.
This letter, dated October 31, 2000,
reiterates the Agency's commitment to the principles outlined in the October 14, 1999 letter with respect to animal welfare.
