President Clintons National Partnership Council Will Sponsor A May 13 Labor-Management Workshop
Washington, D.C. -- To assist agency and union leaders in meeting the challenges of labor-management partnerships, the National Partnership Council will hold day-long skills building sessions throughout the country.
The purpose of the workshops is to gather information and conduct research to facilitate partnership in the federal workplace. The first session will be held on:
The day-long sessions will provide labor-management teams an opportunity to work with the National Partnership Council, federal labor-management relations experts and members of academia in areas such as strategic planning, implementing partnership, overcoming barriers and evaluating partnership efforts.
Similar workshops will be held on June 10 in Atlanta and July 22 in Denver.
