NOTE TO EDITORS:
The Nuclear Regulatory Commission's Advisory Committee on Reactor Safeguards (ACRS) has scheduled a meeting of its subcommittee on planning and procedures on August 31 in Rockville, Maryland.
The subcommittee will discuss proposed ACRS activities and the appointment of a new member.
The meeting will begin at 1:00 p.m. in room T-2B1 of the agency's Two White Flint North Building at 11545 Rockville Pike. Those who wish to make oral statements should notify Dr. John Larkins, at 301-415-7360. Dr. Larkins may also be contacted to confirm the meeting date and time or to obtain further information.
Other aspects of the meeting will be described in an upcoming edition of the Federal Register.
