The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission has assigned Jeffrey Clark to be Senior Resident Inspector at the Cooper Nuclear Station near Brownville, Nebraska. Mr. Clark assumed his post on September 12.
Mr. Clark is a graduate of Thomas Edison State College in Trenton, New Jersey, where he earned a bachelor of science degree in Nuclear Engineering Technology. He also earned a bachelor of science degree in Technology & Management from the University of Maryland, and a master's degree in Environmental Engineering from Johns Hopkins University.
Mr. Clark served in the U.S. Navy submarine service for nine years, and held supervisory and project management positions with a commercial utility company for fourteen years before joining the NRC. At NRC, Mr. Clark was the resident inspector at Perry, a nuclear power plant near Cleveland, Ohio, for two and one-half years prior to being assigned to Cooper.
Mr. Clark will reside in Nebraska City with his wife Beth and two children.
