REASON FOR
ALERT : From February 10-24, 1989, SJN-DO detained four
shipments of frozen kingfish from processors in
India for decomposition, three of which were
from Tri-Tee Seafood Company.
In addition, on March 16, 1989, CFSAN approved
seizure of frozen kingfish in domestic status
processed by Tri-Tee Seafood due to
decomposition.
GUIDANCE : ***Districts may detain, without physical
examination***, all shipments of frozen
kingfish from Tri-Tee Seafood Company.
