NRC TO MEET WITH EXELON GENERATION CO. APRIL 10 TO DISCUSS BRAIDWOOD NUCLEAR POWER STATION SAFETY PERFORMANCE

The Nuclear Regulatory Commission staff will meet with representatives of Exelon Generation Co. in Wilmington, Illinois, on Tuesday, April 9, to discuss the results of the agency's annual assessment of safety performance at the Braidwood Nuclear Power Station. The two-reactor facility is located near Braidwood, Illinois.

The meeting, which will be the open to the public for observation, is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. in the Exelon Services and Training Center, 36400 South Essex Road, Wilmington. Before the meeting is concluded, NRC officials will answer questions from members of the public.

The performance period to be discussed is April 1 through December 31 of last year.
