NRC ADVISORY COMMITTEE ON NUCLEAR WASTE
TO MEET APRIL 20 - 22 IN ROCKVILLE, MARYLAND

The Nuclear Regulatory Commission’s Advisory Committee on Nuclear Waste (ACNW) will hold a meeting April 20 - 22 in Rockville, Md. The Committee’s discussions will include, among other items, an update on the West Valley Demonstration Project and its performance assessment plans, as well as discussions of the Department of Energy’s timetable to respond to key technical issues for the proposed high-level radioactive waste repository at Yucca Mountain, Nevada.

The public meeting will be held in Room T-2B3 of the agency’s Two White Flint North Building, at 11545 Rockville Pike. The meeting will begin at 1 p.m. on April 20, and at 8:30 a.m. on April 21 and 22.
