New Neighbor On The Plain
The statue of Gen. George S. Patton, West Point Class of 1909, is covered in a black tarp in preparation for its unveiling ceremony tomorrow at 1 p.m. when it officially joins the Eisenhower (background), Washington, MacArthur and Thayer statues overlooking the Plain. The Patton statue has been in storage for four years while Jefferson Hall was being built and was recently moved to its current location in time for the class of 2009’s graduation.
