Mr. Schiff: The manhunt for a triple murder suspect has ended; he was found dead of an apparent suicide.

Mr. Peeples: “His name is George Zinkhan.”

Mr. Schiff: That’s Special Agent Carlton Peeples at the FBI’s office in Macon, Georgia, which is part of the FBI’s Atlanta Field Office.

Mr. Peeples: “Mr. Zinkhan allegedly murdered three people in broad daylight; one, his wife, on Saturday, April 25 th, 2009.”

Mr. Schiff: That was at a theater, the Taylor-Brady House, in Athens, Georgia. Peeples says Zinkhan used two weapons that day.

Mr. Peeples: " A handgun, a .38, and a semi-automatic .22 pistol. ”

Mr. Schiff: Peeples says George Martin Zinkhan III was a marketing professor at the University of Georgia. His body was found by cadaver dogs from Atlanta on Saturday, May 9 th, in Clarke County, Georgia. The FBI, along with authorities from Georgia and the U.S. Marshal’s Service, were after Zinkhan, for two weeks. I’m Neal Schiff of the Bureau, and that’s what’s happening at the “FBI, This Week .”
