Homeowners falling behind on an FHA loan should know that:

  • if you or your spouse is on active military duty, you may qualify for a reduction in your interest rate -- and, thereby, reduced payments. Read about how the Servicemembers Civil Relief Act affects military homeowners, and what lenders need to know.

  • If you work with your lender, you may be able to save your home. Read HUD's Tips for Avoiding Foreclosure.
