Center Classification allows HUD's Neighborhood Networks Initiative to demonstrate its growth and maturity after 13 years of development and accomplishment.

If you are one of the many Neighborhood Networks centers that have called the toll-free Information Center to ask about center classification, or if you have read the Neighborhood Networks Center Classification Guide, then you know that while it takes a special effort to work toward and achieve advanced classification levels, centers benefit from doing so.

The chart below describes the incentives that the Neighborhood Networks Initiative will offer to Neighborhood Networks centers that achieve advanced classification levels. Access to these incentives can be used as part of a center's local marketing efforts and included in funding proposals to demonstrate the scope and depth of a center's commitment to its target population.
