Partnerships

 Information by State
 Print version

Public and private partnerships--on the local and national level--play an integral role in the success of both individual centers and the Neighborhood Networks initiative by contributing to center sustainability. Partnerships can vary in length and scope, ranging from organizing a single event to multiyear agreements to train and place residents in jobs.

The opportunities for partnerships with Neighborhood Networks are limitless:
National Partnerships are established between HUD and national public or private organizations. Through these partnerships, individual centers across the country can easily access products and services negotiated between HUD and a national partner.

Local Partnerships are established between individual centers and local businesses, government agencies, and nonprofit organizations. For example, a center might partner with a local health clinic to offer free vaccinations to young residents. Often, the best partnership opportunities are right in a center's community.

Becoming a Partner--Neighborhood Networks presents a valuable opportunity for any partner wishing to make a strategic investment in communities nationwide. Explore how a variety of organizations can be a part of this fast-growing initiative.

Partnerships Resources--Neighborhood Networks has a variety of resources available to centers to assist them in partnership development. Learn what you can to do to create winning partnerships.
