Two subcommittees of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission's Advisory Committee on Reactor Safeguards (ACRS) will hold a joint technical meeting January 9, in Rockville, Maryland.
The meeting, which is open to the public, will begin at 1:00 p.m. in Room 2B1 of the NRC's Two White Flint North Building at 11545 Rockville Pike. The subcommittees on Material and Metallurgy and Severe Accidents will hold discussions with NRC staff regarding the November 20 ACRS letter to the NRC Executive Director for Operations on the proposed steam generator integrity rule and an associated regulatory guide, as well as related matters.
Other aspects of the meeting, including the opportunity for public comment, are described in a Notice of Meeting to be published in the December 26 edition of the Federal Register.
