NOTE TO EDITORS -- NSRRC MEETING
The Nuclear Regulatory Commission's Nuclear Safety Research Review
Committee (NSRRC) has scheduled a technical meeting November 14 and 15, in
Rockville, Maryland.
Topics of discussion at the meeting will include the potential overlap of ongoing
activities of the Advisory Committee on Reactor Safeguards and the NSRRC.
The NSRRC provides advice to the director of the Office of Nuclear Regulatory
Research on matters of overall management importance in the direction of the NRC's
program of nuclear safety research.
The meeting, which is open to the public, will be held from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. on
November 14 and from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on November 15 in Room T-10A1, at
Two White Flint North, 11545 Rockville Pike.
Other aspects of the meeting, including the opportunity for public comment, are
described in a Notice of Meeting published in the October 25 edition of the Federal
Register.
