NOTE TO EDITORS -- ACRS MEETING RESCHEDULED
A meeting of two subcommittees of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission's
Advisory Committee on Reactor Safeguards (ACRS) has been rescheduled due to the
need for additional information from the NRC staff.
The ACRS subcommittees on Materials and Metallurgy and Severe Accidents,
originally scheduled for October 22, will be held instead on November 5, from 8:30
a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and November 6, from 8:30 a.m. to noon. The meetings will take
place in Room 2B3, Two White Flint North, at 11545 Rockville Pike.
All other aspects of the meeting, at which steam generator tube integrity issues
will be discussed, remain the same. They were first detailed in a Notice of Meeting
published in the October 9 edition of the Federal Register.
